Adelas Art: Modern Impressionist & Contemporary figurative artist
Based in Dublin (Ireland), Adelas Art landscape and architectural works take us on a stunning and insightful journey through some of the most spectacular vistas, both in her native Spain and on her foreign travels, particularly in France, Italy, Portugal and Egypt.
Her figurative watercolours and mixed media creations on canvas and wooden boards range from vibrant and airy shop fronts to dark and rainy city scenes. Her watercolour style is bright and gestural with realistically rendered pockets of detail that breathe life into her creations, while her mixed media and oil creations evolve organically through a variety of multilayered techniques (mark making with everyday objects, collaging with vintage and found papers, layering with abstract and drippy brush strokes to name a few) into intriguing art pieces where each layer’s story, history and texture peeks through to accentuate the final figurative and eye catching detailed imagery.
Adelas Art was born in Barcelona in 1991. Her works hang in restaurants & cafés and in private collections worldwide.
In August 2017 she established Adelas Art - The Studio - Fine Art Online Gallery.
